I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee! O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifferences by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners. (3 times) Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament. ***PREPARATION FOR HOLY COMMUNION Dear Jesus, I ardently desire to receive Thee. The moment draws near; the rapturous moment, in which I shall receive Thee, my God, into my soul. I come to Thee, I run to meet Thee with the utmost devotion and reverence of which I, as a little child, am capable. Stretch forth Thy most sacred hands to embrace my soul-Thy pierced hands which were stretched forth amid the anguish of Thy Passion to embrace all sinners. I stretch forth not only my hands, but my heart and my soul, to embrace Thee and to lead Thee into the innermost and secret recess of my heart. Would that I had within me as great a devotion, love, and purity as Thou have ever been adored with by the heart of any mortal. Would that I were filled with all virtues, with all holy desires, with perfect devotion. Would that I had the purity of all Thy apostles, the holiness of all confessors, the chastity and cleanness of heart of all virgins, and the holy fire of love of all the martyrs. Would that I could receive Thee now with all that devotion, reverence, and love with which Thy most Blessed Mother received Thee in Thy incarn- ation, and in Thy adorable Eucharist! Would that I had Thy own most sacred and divine Heart, that I might receive Thee as Thy ineffable majesty deserves! I offer Thee, my sweetest Jesus - to be my fitting preparation, to make amends for all my unworthiness, my negligences, my lack of preparation, devotion, and affections - I offer Thee the love which the Blessed Mother and the saints had when they received Thee in this Holy Sacrament. I offer Thee, Most Holy Jesus, Thy own meritorious Heart, and all the ineffable virtues and graces which the most Blessed Trinity bestowed with- out measure upon it, that all my vileness and all my unworthiness may be covered, and that a proper and most peaceful abode may be prepared for Thee in my soul. Amen. *** MISC. PRAYERS: May the Heart of Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament, be praised, adored, and loved, with grateful affection, in all the tabernacles of the world, and in the hearts of all men, even to the end of time! Amen. O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine, All praise and all thanksgiving Be every moment Thine! May the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar and the three-fold, grace-laden Beautiful, Sorrowful, and Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary be praised and blessed in the name of all and from all souls before all the tabernacles of this earth forever! Amen. O Most Holy God, I adore Thee, through the Adorable Sacrament of the Altar, and I offer Thee, through the holy hands of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, all the consecrated Hosts on our Altars as a sacrifice of expiation, reparation, and atonement for all the sacrileges, profanations, impieties, blasphemies, and crimes commited against Thee throughout the world. Amen. *** HOLY FACE PRAYERS May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most incomprehensible and ineffable Name of God be forever praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth, by all the creatures of God, and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ, in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Amen. O Lord Jesus Christ, in presenting ourselves before Thine adorable Face, to ask of Thee the graces of which we stand most in need, we beseech Thee above all, to grant us that interior disposition of never refusing at any time to do what Thou requirest of us by Thy holy Commandments and divine inspirations. Amen. O Good Jesus, who hast said, "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you," grant us O Lord, that faith which obtains all, or supply in us what may be deficient; grant us, by the pure effect of Thy charity, and for Thine eternal glory, the graces which we need and which we look for from Thine infinite mercy. Amen. Be Merciful to us, O my God, and reject not our prayers, when amid our afflictions, we call upon Thy Holy Name and seek with love and confidence Thine adorable face. O Almighty and Eternal God, look upon the Face of Thy Son Jesus. We present It to Thee with confidence, to implore Thy pardon. The All-Merciful Advocate opens His mouth to plead our cause; hearken to His cries, behold His tears, O God, and through His infinite merits, hearken to Him when He intercedes for us poor miserable sinners. Amen. Adorable Face of my Jesus, my only love, my light, and my life, grant that I may know Thee, love Thee and serve Thee alone, that I may live with Thee, of Thee, by Thee, and for Thee. Amen. Eternal Father, I offer Thee the adorable Face of Thy Beloved Son for the honor and glory of Thy Name, for the conversion of sinners and the salvation of the dying. O Divine Jesus, through Thy Face and Name, save us. Our hope is in the virtue of Thy Holy Name. *** ST. MICHAEL PRAYER (This is the original long version) O Glorious Archangel St. Michael, Prince of the heavenly host, be our defence in the terrible warfare which we carry on against principalities and Powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, spirits of evil. Come to the aid of man, whom God created immortal, made in his own image and likeness, and redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil. Fight this day the battle of the Lord, together with the holy angels, as already thou hast fought the leader of the proud angels, Lucifer, and his apostate host, who were powerless to resist thee, nor was there place for them any longer in Heaven. That cruel, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil or Satan, who seduces the whole world, was cast into the abyss with his angels. Behold, this primeval enemy and slayer of men has taken courage. Transformed into an angel of light, he wanders about with all the multitude of wicked spirits, invading the earth in order to blot out the name of God and of His Christ, to seize upon, slay and cast into eternal perdition souls destined for the crown of eternal glory. This wicked dragon pours out, as a most impure flood, the venom of his malice on men of depraved mind and corrupt heart, the spirit of lying, of impiety, of blasphemy, and the pestilent breath of impurity, and of every vice and iniquity. These most crafty enemies have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on her most sacred possessions. In the Holy Place itself, where has been set up the See of the most holy Peter and the Chair of Truth for the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety, with the iniquitous design the when the Pastor has been struck, the sheep may be scattered. Arise then, O invincible Prince, bring help against the attacks of the lost spirits to the people of God, and give them the victory. They venerate thee as their protector and patron; in thee holy Church glories as her defence against the malicious power of hell: to thee has God entrusted the souls of men to be established in heavenly beatitude. Oh, pray to the God of peace that He may put Satan under our feet, so far conquered that he may no longer be able to hold men in captivity and harm the Church. Offer our prayers in the sight of the Most High, so that they may quickly conciliate the mercies of the Lord; and beating down the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, do thou again make him captive in the abyss, that he may no longer seduce the nations. Amen. V. Behold the Cross of the Lord; be scattered ye hostile powers. R. The Lion of the tribe of Juda has conquered, the root of David. V. Let thy mercies be upon us, O Lord. R. As we have hoped in Thee. V. O Lord, hear my prayer. R. And let my cry come unto Thee. Let us pray. O God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we call upon Thy Holy Name, and as suppliants we implore Thy clemency, that by the intercession of Mary, ever Virgin Immaculate and our Mother, and of the glorious St. Michael, thou wouldst deign to help us against Satan and all other unclean spirits, who wander about the world for the injury of the human race and the ruin of souls. Amen.
O Lord Jesus Christ, Eternal High Priest and Immaculate Lamb of God, slain for us and for many on the Altar of Calvary, and continually offered to Thy Heavenly Father in the clean oblation of Thy Eucharistic Sacrifice; grant, we beseech Thee, through the merits and prayers of Thy Saints Gregory the Great, Thomas Aquinas, and Pius V, that the holy Roman and Apostolic Catholic Mass, ratified, expounded, and perpetuated by them respectively, may be rightly restored to the Altars of Thy Church throughout the world: that once again this most awesome, majestic and perrenial rite may offer Infinite worship and homage to the Most Blessed Trinity, the fullest fruits and consolation and spiritual nourishment to the faithful, an impregnable defense and counterbalance against the rising tide of evil, and a sure termination of the anguish, fear, doubts, and profanations occasioned by its unsanctioned abandonment and replacement. O Holy Saints of the centuries, who sanctified and nourished your souls with the perennial Roman Mass, and Holy Martyrs who shed your blood for it, grant, we pray in desperation, that we will no longer be bereft of it, and that we will, as thee, commit ourselves to the Mass at all costs and to the last breath of our lives. Holy Virgin Mary, Mother of the Immaculate Eucharistic Victim, pray for us that we may bravely, prudently, and diligently and with sound doctrine and means, pursue the rectification of the present encroachments on the Eucharistic Sacrifice, and secure, with thy powerful maternal aid, the restoration of our Roman Catholic Mass and the Reign and Order of the Kingship of Jesus Christ thy Son. Amen. This prayer was written by Rev. Lawrence B. Brey, and published in The Maryfaithful sometime during the 70's.
FIRST PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! Eternal Sweetness to those who love Thee, joy surpassing all joy and all desire, Salvation and Hope of all sinners, Who hast proved that Thou hast no greater desire than to be among men, even assuming human nature at the fullness of time for the love of men, recall all the sufferings Thou hast endured from the instant of Thy conception, and especially during Thy Passion, as it was decreed and ordained from all eternity in the Divine Plan. Remember, oh Lord, that during the Last Supper with Thy disciples, having washed their feet, Thou gavest them Thy Most Precious Body and Blood, and while at the same time Thou didst sweetly console them, Thou didst foretell them Thy coming Passion. Remember all the fear, anguish and pain that Thou didst suffer in Thy delicate Body before the torment of the Crucifixion, when, after hav- ing prayed three times, bathed in a sweat of blood, Thou wast betrayed by Judas, Thy disciple, arrested by the people of a nation Thou hadst chosen and elevated, accused by false witnesses, unjustly judged by three judges during the flower of Thy youth and during the solemn Paschal season. Remember that Thou wast despoiled of Thy garments and clothed in those of derision; that Thy Face and Eyes were veiled, that Thou wast buffeted, crowned with thorns, a reed placed in Thy hands, that Thou wast crushed with blows and overwhelmed with affronts and outrages. In memory of all these pains and sufferings which Thou didst endure before Thy Passion on the Cross, grant me before my death true contr- ition, a sincere and entire confession, worthy satisfaction and the remission of all my sins. Amen. SECOND PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! True liberty of angels, Paradise of delights, remember the horror and sadness which Thou didst endure when Thy enemies, like furious lions, surrounded Thee, and by thousands of insults, spits, blows, lacerations and other unheard of cruelties, tormented Thee at will. In consideration of these insulting words, I beseech Thee, oh my Saviour, to deliver me from all my enemies, visible and invisible, and to bring me, under Thy protection, to the perfection of eternal salvation. Amen. THIRD PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! Creator of Heaven and earth Whom nothing can encompass or limit, Thou Who dost enfold and hold all under Thy loving power, remember the very bitter pain Thou didst suffer when the Jews nailed Thy Sacred Hands and Feet to the Cross by blow after blow with big blunt nails, and not finding Thee in a pitiable enough state to sat- isfy their rage, they enlarged Thy Wounds, and added pain to pain, and with indescribable cruelty stretched Thy Body on the Cross, pulled Thee from all sides, thus dislocating Thy limbs. I beg of Thee, oh Jesus, by the memory of this most Loving suffering of the Cross, to grant me the grace to fear Thee and to love Thee. Amen. FOURTH PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! Heavenly Physician, raised aloft on the Cross to heal our wounds with Thine, remember the bruises which Thou didst suffer and the weakness of all Thy members which were distended to such a degree that never was there pain like unto Thine. From the crown of Thy head to the soles of Thy feet there was not one spot on Thy Body that was not in torment, and yet, forgetting all Thy sufferings, Thou didst not cease to pray to Thy Heavenly Father for thy enemies, saying: "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." Through this great Mercy, and in memory of this suffering, grant that the rememberance of Thy most bitter Passion may effect in us a perfect contrition and the remission of all our sins. Amen. FIFTH PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! Mirror of eternal splendor, remember the sadness which Thou experienced, when contemplating in the light of Thy Divinity the pre- destination of those who would be saved by the merits of Thy Sacred Passion, Thou didst see at the same time, the great multitude of rep- robates who would be damned for their sins, and Thou didst complain bitterly of those hopeless lost and unfortunate sinners. Through this abyss of compassion and pity, and especially through the goodness which Thou displayed to the good thief when Thou saidst to him: "This day, thou shalt be with me in Paradise." I beg of Thee oh Sweet Jesus, that at the hour of my death, Thou wilt show me mercy. Amen. SIXTH PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! Beloved and most desirable King, remember the grief Thou didst suffer, when naked and like a common criminal, Thou wast fast- ened and raised on the Cross, when all Thy relatives and friends abandoned Thee, except Thy beloved Mother, who remained close to Thee during Thy agony and and whom Thou didst entrust to Thy faithful disc- iple when Thou saidst to Mary: "Woman, behold Thy son!" and to St. John: "Son, behold Thy Mother!" I beg of Thee oh my Saviour, by the sword of sorrow which pierced the soul of Thy holy Mother, to have compassion on me in all my afflict- ions and tribulations, both corporal and spiritual, and to assist me in all my trials, and especially at the hour of my death. Amen. SEVENTH PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! Inexhaustible Fountain of compassion, who by a profound gesture of Love, said from the Cross: "I thirst" suffered from the thirst for the salvation of the human race. I beg of Thee my Saviour, to inflame in our hearts the desire to tend toward perfection in all our acts; and to extinguish in us the concupiscence of the flesh and the ardor of worldly desires. Amen. EIGHTH PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! Sweetness of hearts, delight of the spirit, by the bitter- ness of the vinegar and gall which Thou didst taste on the Cross for Love of us, grant us the grace to receive worthily Thy Precious Body and Blood during our life and at the hour of our death, that they may servr as a remedy and consolation for our souls. Amen. NINTH PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! Royal virtue, joy of the mind, recall the pain Thou didst endure when, plunged in an ocean of bitterness at the approach of death, insulted, outraged by the Jews, Thou didst cry out in a loud voice that Thou wast abandoned by Thy Father, saying: "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken me?" Through this anguish, I beg of Thee, oh my Saviour, not to abandon me in the terors and pains of my death. Amen. TENTH PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! Who art the beginning and end of all things, life and vir- tue, remember that for our sakes Thou were plunged in an abyss of suffering from the soles of Thy feet to the crown of Thy Head. In consideration of the enormity of Thy Wounds, teach me to keep, through pure love, Thy Commandments, whose way is wide and easy for those who love Thee. Amen. ELEVENTH PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! Deep abyss of mercy, I beg of Thee, in memory of Thy Wounds which penetrated to the very marrow of Thy Bones and to the depth of Thy being, to draw me, a miserable sinner, overwhelmed by my offenses, away from sin and to hide me from Thy Face justly irritated against me, hide me in Thy Wounds, until Thy anger and just indignation shall have passed away. Amen. TWELFTH PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! Mirror of Truth, symbol of unity, link of Charity, remember the multitude of wounds with which Thou were covered from head to foot, reddened by the spilling of Thy adorable Blood. Oh Great and Universal Pain which Thou didst suffer in Thy virginal Flesh for Love of us! Sweetest Jesus! What is there that couldst have done for us which Thou hast not done! May the fruit of Thy sufferings be renewed in my soul by the faithful rememberance of Thy Passion, and may Thy Love increase in my heart each day, until I see Thee in eternity, Thou Who are the treasury of every real good and every joy, which I beg Thee to grant me, oh Sweet Jesus, in Heaven. Amen. THIRTEENTH PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! Strong Lion, Immortal and Invincible King, remember the pain which Thou didst endure when all Thy strength, both moral and physical, was entirely exhausted, Thou didst bow Thy Head, saying, "It is consummated!" Through this anguish and grief, I beg of Thee Lord Jesus, to have mercy on me at the hour of my death when my mind will be greatly troubled and my sould will be in anguish. Amen. FOURTEENTH PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! Only Son of the Father, Splendor and Figure of His Sub- stance, remember the simple and humble recommendation Thou didst make of Thy Soul to Thy Eternal Father, saying: "Father, into Thy hands I commend My Spirit!" And with thy body all torn, and Thy Heart Broken, and the bowels of Thy Mercy open to redeem us, Thou didst Expire. By this Precious Death, I beg of Thee oh King of Saints, comfort me and help me to resist the devil, the flesh and the world, so that being dead to the world I may live for Thee alone. I beg of Thee at the hour of my death to receive me, a pilgrim and an exile returning to Thee. Amen. FIFTEENTH PRAYER Our Father - Hail Mary Oh Jesus! True and fruitful Vine! Remember the abundant outpouring of Blood which Thou didst so generously shed from Thy Sacred Body as juice from grapes in a wine press. From Thy Side, pierced with a lance by a soldier, blood and water issued forth untill there was not left in Thy Body a single drop, and finally, like a bundle of myrrh lifted to the top of the Cross Thy delicate Flesh was destroyed, the very Substance of thy Body withered, and the Marrow of Thy Bones dried up. Through this bitter passion and through the outpouring of Thy Prec- ious Blood, I beg of Thee, oh Sweet Jesus, to receive my soul when I am inmy death agony. Amen. CONCLUSION Oh Sweet Jesus! Pierce my heart so that my tears of penitence and love will be my bread day and night; may I be converted entirely to Thee, may my heart be Thy perpetual habitation, may my conversation be pleasing to Thee, and may the end of my life be so praiseworthy that I may merit Heaven and there with Thy saints, praise Thee for- ever. Amen

THIRTY DAYS' PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH (For any special intention) Ever blessed and glorious Joseph, kind and loving father, and helpful friend of all in sorrow! You are the good father and protector of orphans, the defender of the defenseless, the patron of those in need and sorrow. Look kindly on my request. My sins have drawn down on me the just dis- pleasure of my God, and so I am surrounded with unhappiness. To you, loving guardian of the Family of Nazareth, do I go for help and protection. Listen, then, I beg you, with fatherly concern, to my earnest prayers, and obtain for me the favors I ask. I ask it by the infinite mercy of the eternal Son of God, which moved Him to take our nature and to be born into this world of sorrow. I ask it by the weariness and suffering you endured when you found no shelter at the inn of Bethlehem for the holy Virgin, nor a house where the Son of God could be born. Then, being everywhere refused, you had to allow the Queen of Heaven to give birth to the world's Redeemer in a cave. I ask it by the loveliness and power of that sacred Name, Jesus, which you conferred on the adorable Infant. I ask it by the painful torture you felt at the prophecy of holy Simeon, whichdeclared the Child Jesus and His holy Mother future victims of our sins and of their great love for us. I ask it through your sorrow and pain of soul when the angel declared to you that the life of the Child Jesus was sought by His enemies. From their evil plan you had to flee with Him and his Blessed Mother to Egypt. I ask it by all the suffering, weariness, and labors of that long and dangerous journey. I ask it by all your care to protect the Sacred Child and His Immaculate Mother during your second journey, when you were ordered to return to your own country. I ask it by your peaceful life in Nazareth where you met with so many joys and sorrows. I ask it by your great distress when the adorable Child was lost to you and His Mother for three days. I ask it by your joy at finding Him at the Temple, and by the comfort you found at Nazareth, while living in the company of the Child Jesus. I ask it by the wonderful submission He showed in His obedience to you. I ask it by the perfect love and conformity you showed in accepting the Divine order to depart from this life, and from the company of Jesus and Mary. I ask it by the joy which filled your soul, when the Redeemer of the world, triumphant over death and hell, entered into the possession of His kingdom and led you into it with special honors. I ask it through Mary's glorious Assumption, and through that endless hapiness you have with her in the presence of God. O good father! I beg you, by all your sufferings, sorrows, and joys, to hear me and obtain for me what I ask. (Here name your petitions or think of them.) Obtain for all those who have asked my prayers everything that is useful to them in the plan of God. Finally, my dear patron and father, be with me and all who are dear to me in our last moments, that we may eternally sing the praises Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Amen.
