Morning Oblation

O Merciful God, I most humbly beg a share in all the Masses that
shall be offered and all the Holy Communions that shall be made,
from the rising of the sun until the going down thereof, for myself
and all those who are dear to me, for all who pray for me, for all
who may have ever injured me, or whom I may have injured; for
my relatives, friends, and benefactors; for all who may be delayed
in Purgatory through my fault; for the Holy Souls for whom Our
Blessed Lady and St. Joseph desire help; for those in Purgatory
who, during life, were especially devoted to the Adorable Sacra-
ment, to the Precious Blood, to the Sacred Heart, or to the Bitter
Passion and Death of our Divine Lord; for the poor, the sick, the
afflicted in body; for all who are grievously tempted, for all who
are suffering crosses, either spiritual or temporal; for those in
their last agony, for poor obdurate sinners, and for those who
have none to pray for them; for the just, that they may receive the
crowning grace of perseverance; for the Pope, Cardinals, Bishops,
Priests, Deacons, Seminarians, and all religious communities.
O my dear Angel Guardian; and Angel Guardians of all those,
both living and dead, for whom I ask a share in the Holy Masses
and Holy Communions, deign in your loving sweetness and
charity to offer them on our behalf.
Eternal Father, I most earnestly desire to gain all the indulgences
attached to my prayers and actions of this day (for.), and I
humbly offer them for these intentions.

Prayer

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, I ask of Thee 3 things this day:
that Thou wilt help me to repair before my death, all the graces
I have lost through my own fault; that Thou wilt assist me in
attaining that degree of merit and perfection destined for me,
and which I may have frustrated by my infidelities; and finally,
that Thou wilt deign to pardon me all the sins which I have
caused others to commit, and restore to them all the graces I
have caused them to lose.
I ask these graces of Thee, O Holy Trinity, through the Heart
of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the intercession of
the glorious St. Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church. Amen.

An Offering of the Precious Blood for Souls

O my God, I beg of Thee, in union with the Immaculate Heart
of Mary, through the merits of the Precious Blood offered Thee
in every Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, to grant
that this day one mortal sin may be averted, one soul in doubt
may be converted to the truth, one soul about to die in sin may
receive the grace of repentance and a happy death, and the
deliverance of that soul in purgatory which is nearest Heaven.
I wish by this offering to console the Heart of Jesus in agony
for the souls lost through the teaching of error against the true
Church of Christ Jesus, Our Lord. Amen.

O my God, I wish to offer Thee this day, without ceasing, all
the Masses that are now said, have been said, or ever will be
said, until the end of time. In union with them, I offer Thee all
my thoughts, words, and actions, joys and sorrows, each breath
I draw, each beat of my heart, to Thine ever-lasting praise and
glory, to Thine infinite rejoicing and delight, for the glory and
honor, praise and love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, to thank
Thee for all the graces bestowed on our Blessed Lady; to make
Thee infinite reparation for my own sins and the sins of the
whole world; to offer Thee infinite thanksgiving for all Thy
benefits to myself and to all creation, and to obtain for each
and all, every best grace and blessing. Through each drop of
the Precious Blood in all these Masses thus united, I beg for
the conversion of sinners, help for the agonizing, relief for
the poor souls in purgatory, and zeal and holiness for priests.
Amen.

O Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like unto Thine
Heart of Jesus, burning with love for me, Inflame my heart with
love of Thee.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine
upon them; and may all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

Hail, Holy Joseph, spouse of the ever Virgin Mary, foster father of
God the Son, whom our Father in Heaven chose to be head of the Holy
Family, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Finally: Memorare to St. Joseph
Remember, O most chaste Spouse of the Virgin Mary, that never was it
known that anyone implored your help and sought your intercession was
left unassisted. Full of confidence in your power, I fly unto you, and
beg your protection. Despise not, O foster-father of the Redeemer, my
humble supplication, but in your bounty, hear and answer me. Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Blood, Passion and Death of Our
Lord Jesus Christ and the sorrows and joys of our Blessed Lady and
St. Joseph, in reparation for my sins, for the Holy souls in Purgatory, for the wants of the Holy
Church, and for the conversion of sinners.

Immaculate Conception Chaplet:
Crucifix: O Most Holy Trinity, I offer Thee the Most Precious
Blood of Jesus, in thanksgiving for all the graces bestowed on the
Blessed Virgin Mary, especially in her Immaculate Conception.
Large beads: O Mary conceived without sin..
     The 3 beads: Hail Mary
Small beads: Blessed be the holy and Immaculate Conception of
the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Prayers before Mass
Receive, O Holy Trinity, one God, the Holy Sacrifice of the
Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, which I, thy unworthy
servant, desire now to offer unto Thy divine Majesty by the hands
of this Thy Priest, with all the sacrifices which have ever been or
are to be offered unto Thee, in union with that most Holy Sacrifice
offered by the same
our Lord at the Last Supper, and on the Altar of the Cross. I offer
it unto Thee with the
utmost affection of devotion, out of pure love for Thine Infinite
Goodness, and according to the most holy intention of the same our
Lord, and of our holy mother Church:
1. To the great and eternal glory and love of Thy divine Majesty.
2. In acknowledgement of Thy sovereign excellence and supreme
dominion over us, and
of our subjection to Thee, and dependence upon Thee.
3. In perpetual commemoration of the Passion and Death of the same
Christ our Lord.
4. For the honor and increase of glory of the Blessed Virgin, and
of all the saints
      triumphant.
5. In eternal thanksgiving for all Thy benefits, conferred upon the
most Sacred Humanity
of our Lord, upon the Blessed Virgin His Mother, upon the
saints my patrons; and for
all the benefits hitherto or yet to be conferred upon all the
blessed and predestinated,
and upon me, the most unworthy of all.
6. In satisfaction for my sins, and for the sins of all the
faithful, living or dead.
7. In particular, I offer it for (intention), and for (N,N), and
for all whom I am accustomed
or bound to pray; that Thou would grant to the departed, rest,
and to the living, grace,
to know, love and glorify Thee perfectly now in this life, and
hereafter blissfully in
Heaven. Accept and perfect this my desire, and vouchsafe Thy
abundant grace and
      blessing for its accomplishment.

O Jesus, infinitely to be loved! Who by the will of the Father
and the co-operation of the Holy Ghost hast not only vouchsafed to
give Thyself once to us as our friend, food, sacrifice, ransom, and
all the necessities of life; grant also peace in our days, freedom
from tempests, and fruitful seasons. Grant also to our prayers the
unity of the Catholic faith, the extirpation of heresies, the
destruction of wicked counsels, the increase of orthodox religion,
fervor of love and piety, sincere devotion, patience, and
long-suffering in affliction, and joy in hope. Finally, grant us
all the things needful for the welfare of our souls and bodies,
but, above all, whatever may promote the increase of Thy Glory.
Through our Lord...

I give Thee all possible praise and thanks, O Sovereign
Creator, that Thou hast permitted me this day to be present, and to
assist at this Holy Sacrifice. Receive, O Lord,
My unworthy prayers, supply all my defects, pardon all my
distractions and indevotions; and grant that by the strength and
virtue of those Divine Mysteries, I may go on cheerfully in the
path of Thy Commandments, love, and service, amidst all the
temptations, troubles, and dangers of my life's pilgrimage, till I
shall one day happily arrive at Thy Heavenly Kingdom, where, with
the blessed angels and saints, I shall more clearly contemplate
Thee, more perfectly enjoy Thee, and more worthily celebrate Thy
Infinite Goodness and Mercy, with uninterrupted canticles of
eternal praise, admiration, and gratitude.
Happy are they who dwell in Thy Hose, O Lord; forever and ever
they will praise Thee.
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive honor, glory, and power.

Act of Reparation

Eternal Father, turn away Thine eyes from the hideous spectacle
of our sins, and in lieu of this hateful sight, look rather upon
the Face of Thy beloved Son which we offer Thee; the voice of His
Blood pleads for mercy in our behalf. Consider, O Eternal Father,
the agony of Jesus in the Garden of Olives, the sweat of blood
which welled forth from His Body and soaked the very earth. These
do we offer Thee, to appease Thy justice and draw down Thy mercy
upon us, and upon all sinners, the grace of conversion.
We offer Thee, O Eternal Father, the streams of Blood which
gushed forth from the innumerable wounds of Jesus' sacred Body,
when torn by the scourges at the pillar. Deign, O most merciful
Father, to accept this adorable Body, as a reparation for the
outrages which sinners commit in their body, neath the very eye of
Thy most pure and holy Majesty.
We offer Thee the sacred Head of Jesus, all mangled by the
crown of thorns, in reparation for the wicked plans conceived in
the guilty minds of countless sinners, and we ask for them the
grace of repentance and of a serious application to thoughts of
their salvation and eternity.
We conjure Thee, O offended Father, to look upon Thy Beloved
Son, laden with His Cross and watering with His Blood the path that
leads to Calvary. We offer this painful and ignominious journey, in
reparation for the criminal conduct of wretched sinners, who ever
run in the ways of iniquity, and wallow in the mire and filth of
sin.
Eternal Father, consider the Wounds of the Sacred Body of Thy
Son Jesus, and deign to apply to us the merits of the Blood shed in
the midst of such excessive pain. May Thine outraged mercy deign to
accept the offering of these bloody Wounds as an expiation for the
sins of men, and a healing balm for all our spiritual maladies.
Eternal Father, consider Thy Beloved Son fastened to the Cross
by enormous nails, satiated with outrages, blasphemed, His sacred
side opened by the lance and giving out, drop by drop, His Precious
Blood for our salvation. In contemplating Him thus, deign to
remember Thy mercies and to receive this infinite reparation which
we offer Thee together with our unworthy practices of immolation
and penance.
Eternal Father, look upon the adorable Face of Jesus, all
bruised and covered with Blood. We offer it to Thee to appease Thy
just anger awakened by the sight of the face of all poor wretched
sinners so hideously
disfigured by their sins.
Finally, O Eternal Father, cast Thine eyes on Thy dead Christ,
the victim of our iniquities. Consider His Cross all bathed in His
Precious Blood; yield to Thy tender mercy at this prodigal effusion
of His Blood; be moved by the Blood which gushed forth from His
Sacred Heart even after His death, because of His burning love, and
grant us mercy, in view of the Reparation which He offered Thee
throughout His Passion and Death. Amen.

Prayer for the Conversion of Those Who Have Practiced Contraception
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, the Holy Family of Nazareth, assist those
who are currently using contraception, those intending to, and
those who have previously and have not repented. Help them to see
that the conjugal embrace is sacred and meant for procreation and
for deepening the communion between husband and wife. Enlighten
them to know that contraception is a refusal to surrender to God's
will for marriage and the family. Convince them to understand that
contraception in our society ensures that abortion will remain, the
virtue of chastity will be rejected, and the fidelity and
self-giving necessary in marriage will be neglected. Inspire all to
obey our Creator and to accept the authoritative teaching of the
Catholic Church that every instance of the conjugal act is to be
receptive to the possible transmission of human life. Direct those
who have contracepted to seek pardon from the Lord so that hope and
charity may reside in their souls. May they realize that
forgiveness, manifested in the Sacrament of Penance before
receiving Holy Communion, is possible and that their genuine
atonement for this sin is the desire of the Almighty Who loves us.
O Holy Family of Nazareth, guide us always! Amen.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be.

today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere,

my family. Amen.

A Prayer to the Poor Souls in Purgatory

O holy souls in Purgatory, you are the certain heirs of Heaven.
You are most dear to Jesus, as the trophies of His Precious
Blood, and to Mary, Mother of Mercy. Obtain for me, through
your intercession, the grace to lead a holy life, to die a happy
death, and to attain to the blessedness of eternity in Heaven.

Dear suffering souls, who long to be delivered in order to
praise and glorify God in Heaven, by your unfailing pity, help
me in the needs which distress me at this time, particularly (here
mention your request), so that I may obtain relief and assistance
from God.

In gratitude for your intercession, I offer to God, on your
behalf, the satisfactory merits of my prayers, works, joys, and
sufferings of this day (week, month, or whatever space of time
you wish to designate). Amen.

   Most Merciful Jesus, Thou Thyself hast said that Thou desire mercy;
so I bring into the abode of Thy Most Compassionate Heart the souls
in Purgatory, souls who are very dear to Thee, and yet, who must make
retribution to Thy justice. May the streams of Blood and Water which
gushed forth from Thy Heart put out the flames of Purgatory, that there,
too, the power of Thy mercy may be celebrated.
Eternal Father, turn Thy merciful gaze upon the souls suffering in
Purgatory, who are enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus.
I beg Thee, by the sorrowful Passion of Jesus Thy Son, and by all the
bitterness with which His most sacred Soul was flooded: Manifest
Thy mercy to the souls who are under Thy just scrutiny. Look upon
them in no other way but only through the Wounds of Jesus, Thy
dearly beloved Son; for we firmly believe that there is no limit to Thy
goodness and compassion. Amen.
